Community Housing Partnership is breaking the cycle of homelessness in San Francisco.

For nearly 25 years, Community Housing Partnership (CHP) has been a force in San Francisco, helping individuals and families move out of homelessness and into homes. CHP’s mission is to help homeless people secure housing and become self-sufficient. The organization provides homes for 1,200 individuals with integrated support services, engages tenants with their communities, and offers job training for hundreds of individuals each year.

We Need Your Support

Join us in completing the final stage of our Training Center. This state-of-the-art 2,800 square foot facility on 5th and Harrison was built for our Employment Pathway. Upon completion, the space will allow CHP’s programming to increase the number of clients served by at least 400% over the next five years.

While much of the Training Center is already in place, we are missing one key element: the computers. With the purchase of computers, we can properly train our clients for their future careers. Each computer will be used by hundreds of formerly homeless individuals.

With your support, we can empower people to rebuild their lives and become self-sufficient.

Tammie's Story

"People like me, with criminal backgrounds and a history of struggles, don’t usually receive second chances. I could have easily ended up back on the streets. But instead, Community Housing Partnership helped me get a job. For the first time, I am able financially support my youngest daughter in college, receive health benefits from my job, and save for the future." Read Tammie's full story here.
